Announcements Day

This picture was taken about 11 months ago in London. IPhone 4S was announced. Today is going to be the announcement day for IPhone 5, which I don't care as much. What I care about today is the rumoured announcement of the Nikon D600 that's supposed to happen this evening.

Quiet Place

I've wanted to take these shots over a year ago when BC Place was still under construction (and I mistook those spikes as construction cranes). Finally got some shots on Saturday.

This is a micro fixed pitch type, that is more advance than the relatively cheap "double blades" you see in malls yet is not the toughest to control...
